Yeah, seems almost unreal that something like that could happen on a movie set these days. I really want to know what he was supposed to be doing.

Yeah neurosurgeons aren't God (though some think they are). If he fell 30 feet and landed on his head he's probably not gonna be the same, ever. The fact he's still alive is amazing enough.

Hate to pile on to a bad situation, but with all of the safety regulations, it would seem that the fall would be his fault. Let's hope that isn't the case and that he pulls through some how.

For anyone interested, John is actually a 2003 Holy Cross alumnus. So there is a Louisiana tie here as well. Prayers to him.

terrible but to say "it isnt fair" is a bit naive when his job is to do dangerous stunts... can only cheat injury for so long

I really hate it happened and hope he some how recovers but he is a stunt man.

Reading that people who are with him are saying he is still alive but is pretty much brain dead.
