Anyone else confused by this whole siege of Paris thing? The raid it 3 times, lose hundreds of men and walk away with booty.
I know that was their way, but it seemed Ragnar had gone beyond just raiding and had a bigger purpose for invading Paris.

He did until he realized he was dying. He wanted Althestan si he could get in without losing ao many men. Floki fricked that up, that is why Ragnar put him in charge and knew it would fail.
