Thanks ... We had a great team and built some big sets for a comedy (both motels for instance and the four corners were all on stage)... Wish it would have done better, but we did our part
And Ed Helms couldn't have a nicer, more genuine person.

well congrats, the set building was pretty amazing, the different places and landmarks sure looked genuine.
Good job.
And critics don't mean shite for R-Rated comedies, this was a great and funny movie.

I was hoping the film would perform better so it could kick off a new franchise and we could get a couple of more of these movies. Time will tell I guess

Thanks again ... It was a fun show to work on. Word is a 30m opening week guaranteed a euro version but who knows now. Off to do another comedy with Ed and Owen Wilson

Because Ed Helms is much funnier

Never trust a critics review of comedy. It's too subjective.

AMH was funny as a teen. He's not in Helms' league as an adult (when it comes to comedy).

Looking at the trailers, I thought it looked very funny. Then a lot of the critics gave Vacation really really bad reviews so I figured I probably won't see it. Thanks to the comments from some of you guys, I may have to go check it out then.

Both were very funny, especially We're the Millers.

His last two series were comedies. Did you see him on Psych and Awkward? I didn't think his performances were on the same level as Helms in The Hangover or The Office.

Helms in The Hangover
The weak link of the movie IMO. But that's probably writing. Screaming what is going on over and over again pissed me off. The tines they actually gave him dialogue worth a shite he did well.

or The Office.
Fizzled quickly in the office but I think that was more writing than his fault. I loved his character in the first 2 seasons he was in it.
He was great in Cedar Rapids. An extremely underrated movie.
