I was kidding. You don't want to know. Horrible series tacked on to the end of the original Battlestar Galactica. I only got through about two episodes when they replayed on Sci-Fi back in the 90's.

3/4 the way through the first season and it has been very good.
there are some questions i have but i might wait until the end of season tonight and ask with spoiler warnings.

I just started season three last night. Watched the first three episodes. This is a very good series.
My dad, of all people, has been trying to get me to watch it for years. I finally caved a few weeks ago. I am seriously impressed how good this show is. It is a prime example of how being on a non big three network gave them the flexibility to actually tell an amazing story and not cater to a inept and outdated ratings system. This never would have been made had it been on ABC or CBS but it is a top 10 show for me of the last 20 years and I'm only halfway thru.
It's legit. You won't be disappointed.

Glad you finally finished this...I've been wondering how it's been going.
I will definitely catch this one in the future. I did finally start Carnivale, and am 5 episodes into that. So maybe once I finish up with that one in a few weeks I'll be able to look into BSG and see if I can make time for it.

just watch the mini series and it will make you want to watch the whole thing.
reading back through the thread i can see how people feel it wrapped up real quick. I felt that too, but i dont think they did a bad job at all.

It pisses me off that they made Caprica into a series and Blood & Chrome was just a movie. B&C would have been a kickass series.

It's....strange. But interesting so far. I'm six episodes in (so 1/4 through the series as there were only two seasons), and am trying to figure out where things are headed. But I'm digging it so far. It has a very odd vibe to it, which I like, and a lot of mystery and shite. It's cool. Right now, I'm just hoping some of my questions get answered, but from what I've heard, there is pretty good closure to the series, so I'm looking forward to it.
