I don't think their is any greater commitment than the $50 monthly fee. It would probably be well worth it for the summer.

They don't release $50 worth of shite each month to justify it.

If you got to pick the months, sure. Some kind of year agreement, hell nah.

Exactly.

Now movies in Cali may be more expensive.....It if was something like $25 I may consider it, but honestly when it isn't summer time, I may go a month or two without seeing a movie.

I know at the theater downtown here in SD it was $11 per ticket. However my wife went on fandango or something like that and got 2 tickets for $9 total. There are deals to find when you want to.

I would do it in Cali if that included arthouse theaters. The movies that get released around here are just a small fraction of what plays in cities like NYC and LA

Can you use it for whatever? As in, if I subscribe to this, can I use it for two tickets (one for me and one for my gf)? Even if that was the case, I think it costs us about 18 bucks to see a movie together these days, so that's right around 3 movies a month. And we don't really see that many a month. If I can only use it for myself, then that's about 5 or 6 movies a month, and I definitely wouldn't use it that much.

Doesn't really seem worth the money IMO.
