I'm not sure I really liked or hated it. I think I really liked it, but it's an incredibly creepy movie that certainly gets "under your skin".
Jonathan Glazer, the director, is without a doubt the next Stanley Kubrick. That's huge praise, too! He not a Kubrick copycat by any means. However, the feel in his movies...the tone...the obsessive attention to detail make you believe that if Stanley Kubrick were alive, he'd be making Jonathan Glazer movies.
I don't want to give the plot away. I'm convinced that this movie would be best viewed if one knew nothing about it. The incredibly visual images must slowly worm their way through your nerves for the ending to be most appreciated.
Regardless, Scarlett Johansson is fully naked multiple times, so there's that too...
