Keep going, yes. But don't be surprised when the episodes become repetitive a few seasons in.

I missed the show until about five years back, too. Watched all eight seasons in catch-up. IMO, I thought Season 2 was the best followed by Season 4, then Season 1.
Definitely keep going.

COntrary to what people say on this board, season 7 and 8 are good and worth watching, as is the tv movie bridging 7 and 8. Season 6 is pretty bad (minus a few episodes), but stick with it.
