Is it out? Looks pretty good from the trailer.

Released a few months ago. Got mediocre reviews.

I read the book, other than the killer using the name of the author I didn't think there was anything special there.

worth a watch if you're looking for something, but nothing amazing.

I may be wrong, but I think Franco pitches, and Hill catches.

The movie was OK, maybe a bit more so (not much)

The story of how the killer could end up doing what he did is actually a more interesting story. Disturbing mind you, but far more interesting. I found the 48 hours episode to be pretty good. LINK

This movie focuses on the events after the killing. I don't think it was a good idea for them to make a real movie out of this story at all.
