I finally got a chance to watch the first two episodes this weekend. I really like it. I was kind of surprised because a lot of the posts in the threads from those episodes seemed to be negative.
But then again, I've always kind of liked old school noir stuff and this had that kind of vibe for me.
The only thing that I thought could have been better was some of the exposition stuff - almost seemed like CSI or Law and Order with the clipped phrases explaining things and I don't really care for those shows.

Yes and last week I was able to start the episode a few minutes before it came on HBO tv.
