The only dialouge I've found to be truly terrible is the conversations between VV and CF. None of their scenes together come off as two guys talking. Instead the viewer is painfully aware these are two actors reading from scripts.

So the only reason we had Woodrugh was so they could find out the cops involved and that Casper used to work with them? Why McAdams old partner do that just as easily?

This show has been ramping up from the beginning. Last week was good, tonight was very good and I believe that next week will be excellent.

I think there are some inherent flaws with the show, but I will concede that the last 2 episodes have really turned things around for me.

It's a bold move to kill the character that everyone hated and felt didn't bring anything to the show.

I was so pumped.

When Velcoro asked if Bezerides missed anything (when they were drinking right before the hook up), was that just some random come on line, or was there something in particular he was asking her about?

I took it as if he was asking her if she would miss anything about her life when they disappear or leave the country. Basically it was 2 people with shitty lives coming to realization that they have lived shitty lives.

...or he could have been asking her if she wanted the dick

I took it as both of them connecting over being alone. He tried to vent to her about his son, and she just gave him a look like... you know he's better off. He's accepted that in stages, first with blow and now with being on a hit list. She took care of her sister and dad, but the same sister called her out for "trying so hard to be alone" and dad let her get raped. She is cool with both of them but doesn't feel close to them. Ray is in the same boat, so they frick.

I need to go back and watch the scene with McAdams and her dad. So he knew she was being molested/raped?

There wasn't much there. No one has explicitly said Ani was raped, but her need for sex makes it obvious. It's a forgone conclusion one of the "pilgrims" who passed through dad's commune lured her into a van. Dad knew she was taken by a man, apologizes for it by saying he searched the woods for days, and that he is a hippie because he didn't want to be like his dad.

Pretty clear that casper was murdered for personal reasons....not due to the railway deal...who had a personal reason to murder him? The two orphans? Speculation the secretary may have been the Oster man girl...her brother has to be birdman...someone who maybe we have only seen once...set photographer from the movie set? The car that was burned was from the set correct?

I think it's pretty clear the orphans killed Caspere. "Birdman" was a woman, surely the orphan girl. She seduced him and killed him at the sex house in LA. The brother could be anyone, but we've probably seen him before. Now all the cops involved are trying to tie up the loose ends and get the diamonds. What remains to be seen is how much the orphans figure into taking down Catalyst/Russians.

Ok, so I gathered pretty much everything that there was to gather. Thanks for the summary.

I think Frank is going to use the Mexican Gang as his muscle. To take out the guys who Blake told him about who are having the big trade off. Osef will be there as Blake told him. Frank doesn't want the cash which would be a great incentive for the Mexicans.

I don't think he gives a damn about the Mexicans. I'm thinking VV and Ani do it with him for a cut, and they flee the country too. If not, they have a lot of ground to cover to prove their innocence in one episode.
ETA: Also, think he was able to send CF a text before being killed and we know the guy grabbed his phone, so curious to see how that plays out.

Am I the only one that thinks this part of the season's plot is completely ridiculous? At the very least, they didn't run with it all that well. The images of Caspere's burnt out eyes and the birdhead mask were cool in the beginning, but it was never built upon sufficiently after that...

The story arc revolving around Vaughn's character Frank makes some sense, but the other stuff is just silly.

Some of the character development, action and dialogue is ok in spurts, but it definitely isn't a plot driven show, by any means.

Were in the early episodes a lot. And knowing what we knew about Vinci from the very beginning, it wasn't a stretch to assume we should know who these guys are.

they rarely had any dialogue outside of a few seconds here and there from each scene. I know their faces, just not the names. They should have done a better job of making their names known, especially with the way they were throwing out the names in the past episodes, and showing the signatures on those documents.

If you remembered who Holloway, Dixon and Davis and Burris were, congrats to you, sir.

If you paid attention it was easily remembered who they were. I didn't have any issues with that. The only problems I have had were with poorly written dialogue in the earlier epis odes and Taylor kitsch character not serving any purpose whatsoever.

I agree about the names. They didn't do a good job making their names known. And admittedly, I watch with CC on, and each episode I'll end up rewinding the important scenes when they rattle off names and important information (like the scene from last night when they're all three in the hotel sorting out the events, people, diamonds, etc).

That's definitely what he was talking about since she's a heartless count for the most part. She wanted the handshake and he went in for the hug, then proceeded to tell her that.

We know how the final episode is gonna go down for Frank, but I'm really interested what role Ani and Ray will have in the finale. These last few pages definitely helped me better understand what's going on.

I think 3 hugs or 3 "thank you's".

She doesn't strike me as someone that throws around very much of either.
