love the show, but losing peter gregory and now bachman it cant last much longer.
now they have to pump gavin belson up now and that will get old quick on it's own.
gonna need some new mike judge inspired comedy blood or the show wont make it to 6 seasons IMO..

Has more of a strong personality and voice though. He is hilarious as the phlegm in the Mucinex commercials and I want to say that Comedy Central just gave him his own series where he is some type of monster that has a tonight show feel to it (interview people and whatnot)
Sad to see him go though. Jian Yang might lose screen time as well. The writer's don't incorporate him unless TJ's character is in the scene.

I'm not surprised; this has been a rumor for a few months now and it's now confirmed.
I'm thinking it's because of TJ trying to do his own stand up and having roles in movies like Deadpool.

I think it is debatable after Richard (who is the lead by default or genius). The other three characters (other than Bachman) are at least no less important than him.
Most of the Bachman character's actions are completely replaceable by other characters. In a normal setting he would really stand out next to the crowd but Big Head is more clueless, the featured CEOs are more capricious and egomaniacal, and he brings no more content to the company than Big Head.
He's a fun character but you could easily imagine either Jin Yang or Big Head serving the same plot devices. Gavin, Laurie, or Jack Barker could reappear to do much of the same kind of sabotage that Bachman often incurred by accident. Don't get me wrong. I enjoy Miller on the show, but he's going to do more movies and other comedy instead of Silicon Valley, not disappear from American media outlets.

I would love it if Gavin returned in the finale or season premiere as a focused member of the team and took them all the way to the top in a final season.
