don't read this because it has spoilers relevant to this current season but this is a funny vulture article on why every character on parenthood is at some point in the series the absolutely worst: LINK
one of the most underrated shows on TV, IMO. it will go the way of Friday Night Lights…loved by netflix watchers for years to come.
max's character is amazing and the kid who plays him is brilliant. he studied with a psychologist for a long time prepping for the role.

It's one of my favorite shows, so sad this is the last season. It has to be one of the most under-rated shows on TV. All of the story lines are so relevent and real issues. The acting is great, it's a real stellar cast.

Seems too depressing for me

We really like it. We always warch it weekly when its in season. One of the few shows we make sure to watch on a regular basis.
The acting is great. The storylines are compelling, real, and captivating. It really strikes home bc we've grown to care about most every character on the show (I'm looking at you, Jabar).
Definitely gonna miss it. 3 more episodes.

I like it but sometimes it could benefit from a dash of humor. One particularly depressing season featured cancer and an abusive PTSD soldier.

It's not really a great show. I actually hate some of the characters...possibly most of the characters. But I keep watching it for some reason.
I really can't recommend it, but I watch it.

Watched it for a couple of seasons but each episode is just an avalanche of drama. Just not worth my time.

That article was focused on the antics in this season, but I have pretty much hated every character for a at least a few episodes since the beginning.
The show is interesting and I keep watching, but it is about perhaps the most selfish group of people to ever grace the small screen.

Yep. Way too much negative and not enough positive. Sure, it may mimic the reality of families, but that's not why I watch TV.

The wife and I have watched it from the beginning. Can't say that I enjoy it, since it is sad and borderline depressing but I guess that's what makes it a good show.

My wife loved it and got me watching it. Its ok, I have liked Peter Krause since 6 Feet and Coach is always good. Its not great though.

Good movie, one of Keanu's best performances.

I watch it, but the way everyone talks over each other gets really old after a while.

Pretty sure my wife cries every episode she got me watching it, I'll miss the family camaraderie

I always just assumed this was a show for self-involved depressives to sit around and feel better because "it could be worse".

I like it, I care about all the characters except Jasmine, I hope she gets hit by a bus, also Drew and his depressed hipster mentality can get pretty annoying

The GF watches it so I'm usually stuck watching it too. I pretty much hate every character on the show. They are all a bunch of selfish assholes.
I remember the scene where Crosby and Jazmine are in a semi nice Italian restaurant with the 2 kids. The baby is screaming it's head off and disturbing every other patron in the restaurant. Finally the manager asks them to leave b/c God knows the parents aren't going to go outside until baby shuts up.
Crosby goes into the biggest assholish tirade about how the patrons are assholes for not understanding and accepting the crying baby.
It was fricking horrible. Parenthood is written by a bunch of liberal fricktards who don't take responsibility for anything. It really shows through in the characters
