Thor 2 > Iron Man 2, Spiderman 2

A very respectable sequel. I was pleasantly surprised. I went in thinking it was going to be Iron Man 3 cringe worthy, and even though I am super sick of these freaking superhero movies, someone else paid for my ticket. I liked it.
Better than Iron Man 2 and Spiderman 2 that's for sure.
I'm trying to compare it to other superhero movie sequels.
It's way behind The Dark Knight. Also X2, Batman Returns, Superman 2(80's) > Thor 2. I like the old Batman and Superman better than most though.
Natalie Portman was looking good as usual too. They didn't overdue the funny friend like Transformers did with Labeuf's parents. I enjoyed Loki better in this than I did in the first and in Avengers for that matter. Got more Idris Elba. Super weird bad guy who I'm still not sure what was going on with that dude.
I was really really wanting the elf to look at his black horned bad guy friend and be like
Elf: "black horned bad guy"
Bhbg: "yes"
Elf: "You remember that name they gave me at bad guy training, the one they used to call me"
Bhbg: "I... I don't know... I"
Elf: "SAY IT! SAY IT!"
Bhbg: "..... Two face."

Spiderman 2 is one of the best Marvel comic book movies of all time IMO, so I doubt it's better than that.
Was Thor 2 better than Thor 1?

I enjoyed the movie, but you're right. They missed the mark on Malekith.

no no no no, iron man 1 was good, but thor 2 was meh and Avengers gets props for good acting and humor but the complete rip off of Transformers Dark Side of the Moon plot line gives it a big minus.

Haven't seen Thor 2 (already met my quota of going to the theater three times a year) but.. Spiderman 2 is the best comic book movie ever IMO.

Thor 2 waaaay better than Thor 1. He doesn't spend half the movie without super powers.

What's your idea of a quality superhero movie then, x-men 3?
The top tier of superhero movies are
Iron man 1, Avengers, Thor 2, X-men First Class.

First off, if there was a NERF party, I'd be the leading role. WalMart in bossier made a killing of my parents. I was the only kid in my neighborhood who had the machine gun.
