I did not realize they were making Mitch Rapp Movies.
Hopefully they make the actual stories and not the bullshite we're getting with The Dark Tower.

mitch's wife was in her early 40's and a white house reporter that dude can't pull that off. mitch was in his 40's

He's much younger than 40 in American Assassin. He wasn't even married at that point. He was still getting over his girlfriend dying on the Pan Am flight.

Rapp was 23 in American Assassin. Fresh out of college. This actor is apparently 25. He can do it.

Looks ok to me. He says multiple times in the books that he's just athletic and well trained instead of a big, muscular guy. He's also a guy that needs to blend in often, so I don't have a problem with him.

was watching maze runner last night and looked up the main character to find out what else he was in. lo and behold, he's going to be my favorite assassin. rant to to movie board and you were all over it.
he matches the character in AA fine. lean, black hair, ruddy. interestingly he got jacked up filming the final maze runner movie and had to stop filming for months in a stunt accident gone wrong.
also i couldn't find the thread, but when we talked about this movie being made a year or so ago, somebody said they were going to make Irene Kennedy black.
