I watched the blob when I was little and I remember being scared to go into the bathroom for a few weeks. That and that old man from poltergeist are about the only things that I remember freaking me out.

The chest alien in "Alien" freaked me out as a kid. Oddly enough, the entire Nightmare on Elm Street series didn't phase me one bit, but the frickin' alien messed with my mind.

Pretty recently I watched the movie Ichi the Killer. The whole thing was pretty disgusting and disturbing. I guess that's sort of the point though.
