I was frustrated that Adam paired 2 of his better competitors against one another. Sure the girl has a very strong voice, but yes the kid was just something fresh. So far he's the only person I am actually upset to see go home. He was sincere, kind, innocent, and just a nice sound. Really wanted him saved by Blake or Christina.
This show unlike Idol or Xfactor is really against youth. Every young person either gets told off at auditions, or cut very early just because they aren't seasoned enough.
I do get tired of hearing Christina's excuse of building a specific type of team. You have a good amount of pop singers, girls, and whatever. Why do they need to get along though? They are competing against one another to be the last on your team.
It was one of the skipped battles, but Adam giving the Reggae singer an alternative rock song was kinda silly.

I watch the voice but I still don't know how it continues to get pretty good ratings. The talent is very inferior to other competition shows. The blind auditions are fun but it seems downhill from there.

I'm surprised they didn't show Cassadee's battle because they hyped her a good bit in the blind auditions and I figured she'd be one they pimped out to pump up her votes later on. After the blind auditions I would have had her as one of the favorites.
I think Brandon is the most deserving person cut and not stolen so far. Well, thinking back it's either him or the Hawaiian dude, JR. I would take either of them over half the people that have gone further.

Noticed last night, I think Adam only has like 3 dudes on his team. Cee Lo only has 3 chicks.

Over 10 minutes into the show and we've seen nothing worthwhile at all. Commercials are still on. It will be 13 minutes before we see a battle after they show us what we just saw again in case we forgot during the commercials.

39 minutes into the show and we've seen two battles and now a string of commercials has begun. It's hard to stay into it when it drags on and on. The next battle is the only one I'm really interested in, so far, so this has been slow going. If you haven't watched, watch on tape.

Avery won that one for sure. I really like him. Knew Cristina was going to steal her. She's her kind of gal AND this is the last battle of the night AND they pretty much let us know a steal was coming. No drama there.
Such a SLOW show. Good thing they saved that battle for last or I'd have stopped watching. Last battle started at 7:52. Ridiculous.
More damn battles. I really don't like the battles in duos or individually. I'd rather it go to the public. I think Avery will take Daniel down next week. I hope so. I like Daniel, but I like Avery better.

I like this next round though, because it's not a battle per se as much as it's them performing their choice of song in their comfort zone. So it's a battle OF performances rather than a battle performance. I like that.
Also, frick that Daniel dude. He sucks. Avery should SHRED that dude.
And I can't fricking wait for that fat black dide to sing Take a Look At Me Now. Should be fantastic.

Christina is really riding this Pop train. I don't think any of the pop people will do all that well when it gets down to your last 2 team members.
I might be in the minority but that last battle for as much as the Judges praised it I thought it stunk. The girl's singing was pretty crappy, and the guy's voice kept vibrating.

This thread is dead...I almost hate to bump it even.
Agreed with all of Adam's picks. Almost all of them you could call before they even sang. For some, the battle was lopsided and an easy decision. For the others, you could kinda tell who Adam liked more anyway, so you could tell who he was gonna pick. Worst one (difficult-wise) was the two black chicks...holy shite those girls can sing. Adam's team was pretty talented top to bottom actually.
Cee Lo. I couldn't believe he didn't pick Avery...obviously the better singer, but he ruined it with his jumping around bullshite.
These dudes need to stop singing Taylor Swift songs. I'm glad McKenzie won. He was better and I fricking hate Daniel Rosa for some reason.
Theresa and Trevin both did really well. Trevin is the right pick though. He's incredible. It's pretty cool that they both bonded and connected so well.

I always find it odd that the coaches pair up some of their stronger singers. The coaches know who are the top and bottom feeders at this point, and they even know who they expect to do well in live rounds, or even who they want to see continue on. It shouldn't be hard to keep your best singers around. And don't give me the you wanted a competitive battle so you paired 2 talented people together.

They really are against youth in this show, as opposed to Xfactor and Idol. The Voice really isn't all that much into the working the stage performances, and dancing. That comes later in the live rounds when they have background dancers and such, but it definitely doesn't enforce that "total package" type deal.

I agree on both. Diego doesn't do anything for me, and Nicholas I don't feel will connect well with the voters.

I thought he had the best team headed into the battle rounds, but he did lose some very good/talented singers. For Adam I thought Nicole was a front runner for this entire competition, and Michelle-Brooks was a great singer as well. Some big time talent he let go. Adam really does love Melanie's unique sound, and her experimental/different style. Cee Lo also got rid of some very good singers, Terisa and Avery. I thought they were either great singers or great entertainers. Avery was someone I believed to be another front runner for the entire competition.
