was thinking about checking this out tonight. Anyone seen this? Miles Teller, Shaileen Woodley, and Kyle Chandler. The previews looked pretty solid.

i think you should check it out if you are interested.
i feel like the movie never went any where and i did not like it, but that's just my opinion. i like miles teller in other things, but hated him in this.

It was good. Nothing "spectacular," but you could find worse ways to spend your Sunday afternoon.

Whiplash was great
Project X, but he had a smaller part
That Awkward Moment was a bad movie, but I like his character
Rabbit Hole was okay
I can see how The Spectacular Now may be unique or others may relate to it better.. it just didn't do anything for me.. and for me it just never escalated into much of anything. Kyle Chandler is in this movie, and I really liked him in FNL.
I hope you get a chance to watch it and let us know how you liked it.. I imagine you will, I was just let down given the reviews.

I enjoyed the movie. Really was quite sad but it was a good coming of age film. It was good to see him become self aware and realize who he really was.

Not terrible or too cliche. Teller saves it. Liked him in That Awkward Moment as well. That one's totally under the radat.
