Arguably?

He's undisputedly the most electrifying man in entertainment

Always been a hard worker. Kudos to him
He still was at his best as the Rock way back in the day.

That cameo spot in "That 70's Show" was actually his first role outside of pro wrestling. You could tell he had that "it" factor taking such a small bit part and lending actual emotion. I also liked his character's joke about how his son would grow up to be "the most electrifying man in show business". Dwayne Johnson surely has lived up to that mantel.

He's a decent actor, and I think Arnold is a good comparison. I wonder if he'll ever get an iconic role like Terminator?

Tons of Charisma and he works hard. That's a great combo. I probably only like about 50% of his movies, but he's usually fun to watch regardless.

Well deserved.

He had a chance with Scorpion King but for whatever reason they never did a sequel with him. There's rumors of Hobbes from Fast and Furious getting his own spin off movie, which I think could be good.

Everybody likes The Rock... really, he's got to be one of the most likable guys, to such a diverse crowd, on the planet.

Always thought Rock could handle an Arnold action flick reboot. Maybe Commando or Running Man

Would have loved to have seen how he would have fared in football!! Unfortunately the year after Ed Orgeron recruited him to play for the Miami Hurricanes, a player by the name of Warren Sapp came along.

Warren Sapp on Dwayne Johnson in 2012:

"He was a specimen. He looked great. He always looked great. He was tan, curly hair. He was the kind of guy you want your sister to date, because he was a nice guy. I always said that to him.

"When he was [first] there, I was a tight end in high school and I got [to Miami] as a tight end and linebacker, and they moved me over to D-line. I was real reluctant to do so. I thought I was a pretty good tight end and a pretty good athlete, but being 290 pounds, they moved me to D-line and said, 'We need you to rush the passer or you can go home.'

"So I came into the D-line room and sat down, and Dwayne Johnson walks in and says, 'What are you doing here?'

"I said, 'I’m here for your job.' So that’s how me and him had our introduction to each other. I said it jokingly, but I was there for his job."

Schwarzenneger is a great comparison. I think the rock is more charismatic than Arnold, but Arnold as the terminator is possibly the most iconic character in movie history. Also, Arnold has been in much better movies then the rock.

It's really amazing how successful the rock is despite the fact he really hasn't been in a movie worth a shite.

Why Rock dominates Hollywood is because he takes the roles he knows he can bring to life and that's it. Need him to kick arse and wear tight shirts while his muscles budge? He does it and doesn't stray very far from it. Very smart man and nothing but respect for him.

Can we please re-boot the Predator franchise with him as the lead?

That would be kickass.

I say arguably because it's tough to compare him to the Cary grant, George clooney types.

And yes I did catch your wwe reference.
