I've looked everywhere for this for years. My mom used to record episodes on VHS for me

When I first saw the title "The Real Ghostbusters", I thought you were referring to the politically divided feminist masterpiece by Paul Feig.

That was a good show. Wish they had more 80s cartoons.

ETA: The old Voltron is back too. Just one season but I'll take it.

Yes! This was my happy place as a child! Such a good cartoon show, and some of the humor still hold up fairly well.

Another reason why the 80s kicked arse.

All these cartoons rocked

Ghostbusters

My three year old daughter saw the old Mario Brothers show on Netflix and wanted to watch it. She loves the cartoon part. Now she wants to watch Zelda because they have ads for it in the show. I'm so proud.

This isn't an 80s cartoon, but I'm still waiting for this to be available to stream:

I was jealous as a kid in the early 90s when my older cousins had all the ghostbusters toys and when I wanted them they had stop making them but ninja turtles and batman came to the rescue. My son watched all the episodes on kodi and he loved them but he hates the original ninja turtles because he is used to the nickelodeon version.

I remember watching it (I think on CBS Saturday mornings) and even had a few of the toys yet I don't look back on it with glee like with Ninja Turtles.

That show was the reason they had to call it "The Real Ghostbusters," after Filmation studios launched a cartoon based on the original tv show.

It was very confusing to childhood me.
