There will probably be flashbacks, but Karen Page, DD's former secretary is in the series so it's post DD s2.

I would love to see an Agents of SHIELD crossover with the Marvel Netflix shows.
The Defenders had Luke Cage and Jessica Jones being skeptical as hell about everything even after they met Daredevil and Iron Fist and they live in a world where they avengers with a giant green monster and a norse god exist.
Wait until they meet SHIELD, visit their big planes and top secret underground bases and also the inhumans as well.

after watching that second trailer, i'm really hoping this show doesn't spend as much time as daredevil does wrestling with the morality of their actions. i expect some of that, but ultimately i want to see the punisher delivering lake city quiet pills to those who deserve it!

You know it will. Karen Page is listed as in 13 episodes and I expect her role to be his tie to humanity and his conscience. I just hope she's not as annoying about it as Rosario Dawson has been in this universe.
