It's up there with Memento as his best.

For me, it has the most rewatchable value. I liked it the first time seeing it, but the second time blew me away because of how much I missed.

I always get this movie mixed up with the Illusionist. They both came out in the same year, and they both were about magicians.

The Prestige vs The Illusionist

Why does Hollywood have a tendency to put out very similar movies in the same year? Other examples would be Armageddon and Deep Impact, the two Snow White movies that came out last year, and now Oblivion and the Will Smith and Son movie.

No shite, I got a tingle "down there" when Jackman said he was going to CO because I suspected why. I literally jumped out of my chair when Tesla came on screen.

I may check it out tonight. from the looks of the cover, it appears that both Jackman and Bale were the leads in this movie. who had the better role/performance?
