Came across this movie while trying to find something on Kodi. It was a surprisingly good coming of age movie. Never heard of it but saw Emma Watson was in it so I gave it a try. Did this movie ever come to theaters in Baton Rouge?

Yes, but I didn't watch it on account of my possession of a penis and my heterosexual orientation.

I'm sure it did come to B.R.
I liked it, because I grew up on John Hughes movies and I graduated high school in the late 80s, so the soundtrack was stuff I listened to back then. Although I kinda worry about what happened to the main character after his friends graduated from high school...but I guess he was kind of popular enough to establish his own band of misfits.

I watched like 60 seconds and everyone was either gay or whining.

Loved this movie. A very good coming-of-age flick. Plus it uses one of my favorite Galaxie 500 songs 'Tugboat'
