I just saw it how I saw it and to me, the Jason did it theory fits my thinking at the time and it provides plausible explanation for the issues I had.

I immediately did the same thing when I watched it just now.

I wonder if the producers are going with an intentional over-the-top parody of the events in order to highlight the circus that became of the murders and subsequent events. Two people were brutally slain and lives ruined forever, but people watched with rapt attention lapping up every detail with only a passing regard to the fact that actual lives were lost.

I finally saw the first episode and I enjoyed it despite my doubts that someone Cuba Gooding's size could play a guy as big as OJ. The episode reminded me of some details that I've forgotten and how surprised I was that he got off in the first place.
I did not think that Nicole Simpson had an open casket funeral given the extent of her injuries.
I wonder if Simpson will test positive for CTE after he passes.
edit: Also, I want a Ford Bronco because modern SUVs and pickups mostly suck.

Just saw the first episode, and I really enjoyed it. I was too young to understand what all was going on when it originally happened, so it is interesting to see now. Andy Greenwald and Chris Ryan said on their podcast that it gets even better.
As to the point about CTE, several sports media folks have suggested that he likely is suffering from it. I even think it got a mention on Simmons pod a few days ago.
