Anyone catch this yet? I don’t have a TV but the first episode is available for free on iTunes. I went in with very low expectations because the Family Guy formula of comedy definitely wore off about 7 years ago for me, but this show is very good. If you liked stuff like the film Galaxy Quest, give this a watch. Seth MacFarlane does a pretty good job and the jokes are original and not pop culture references.

Very good is a stretch. I like it. But Seth has a nasty habit of beating jokes to death. And he does that a couple of times an episode.
I'm a big TNG fan so this honestly reminds me a lot of TNG.

Yeah but the “Like that time I was stuck at the DMV with Ron Howard” type jokes remain.

I like Seth as a writer but man does he suck as an actor.

It’s not very good. But I think it’s good.
Episode 3 had an intriguing dilemma. I was surprised.
This show succeeds when it’s not trying so hard. When the characters seem to be natural or in their element, it works. That needs to happen a little more in each episode.

Just watched episodes two and three... they had to bring SJW crap into this show with trannies. This will go the route of Firefly before we know it.

I agree. I thought this was the best episode so far. Rudolph the red nosed reindeer for the win.

I still love Family Guy. I don't get the hate.
