I just grew up liking the English version of the show better. I understand your opinion though. 
I really like the original Japanese...just imo the English has a little edge.
One thing I respect about the English voice actors. They put so much more into the show. So much more passion in their voice overs. Sean Schemmel actually passed out in the booth once. That is awesome

Yeah, the remastered music is just awful IMO. I have Faulconer in my iTunes, specifically the Gohan Angers and SSJ2 Gohan.

Always wondered what it would be like if Radditz had survived and been able to go SSJ3. How much hair would he have had since the hair grows at that level?

i always thought it kinda lame the only villain they incorporated from the movies was garlic, jr.
i think they missed a big opportunity to either bring in turles from tree of might or broly.
if turles, have him team with another force. be a super strong sayain that has no affiliation to the race (like goku) but evil version.
if broly, you basically have the biggest threat brought into the tv show. great opportunity to have the team actually lose (like the android alternate version) and have them come up the ranks while on the run. it would bring a whole new tension and gravity to the series, imo.i guess you could argue the buu saga was semi like this, but buu was just so damn goofy.

I agree to an extent. The story was already so long and really well written through Dragon Ball Z. GT was pretty meh...so I'm fine with side story movies. Alternate timeline or not.

shite. If you started watching it on CN, you were screwed too. I think that's when I started hating the funimation versions. It made it a little better when they started releasing the uncut VHS's.

I liked the idea of cutting the useless filler and 20 minutes of powering up and staring at the opponent in Kai, but all the retarded edits are too much. I mean Goku, Radditz, Krillin, Vegeta, etc all did not get a hole in them when they were killed(well...Krillin didn't die from being gored) and why the frick is popo blue?

It was the same when they first aired on CN. Every time there was supposed to be blood, they just colored it black like they had dirt or a bruise on them. All the shots of a hole getting blasted in them was cut out too. The uncut episodes came out after about a 2 year break during the fight with Recoome.
