Sometimes the movies don't fit into the series storyline/timeline, so it is difficult to consider them canon.
ETA: All in all I don't think that it's as big of a deal as others that they aren't canon. Except GT. GT sucked.

That's hard as frick. I'm infatuated by the Saiyan race, and would love to know as much as possible about them. I'd hate to leave Broly out, but I think I'd have to go with King Vegeta for one. I feel like he'd know a lot about Saiyan warriors and legends of the past. My second pick would probably be Turles. That dude was a ruthless fricking beast in The Tree Of Might. He was powerful, and had the cocky attitude like Vegeta.

I'd love to see Nappa, Raditz, and Broly. Mainly to see how much they've progressed. I think it'd be fricking sweet to see Raditz and Nappa transform.
