The first one they fight in starts less than a year after Goku and Krillin start training with Master Roshi. Maybe like 8 months after. This is after the first adventure against Pilaf that ended with Oolong wishing for some panties from the Eternal Dragon.

Right, the first World Martial Arts Tournament takes place right after the episodes of Goku and Krillin training. I love those episodes

Poxxxx, do you have this? It was originally released on VHS before DBZ even started airing here.

I don't think so? That's pretty sweet though. I haven't bought any box sets in a while. If I do, it's usually new releases.

That's why FUNi's first release started with episode 14 instead of 1. They didn't have the rights to 1-13 until they released the blue bricks in 09.
