Taken from a FB comment and I agree...

I loved that it was the financial advisor. I had a feeling it was him after reading a theory. The theory I read online mentions how in episode 2, Stone goes around taking photos in places where Andrea has been in her own personal photos. In two of those photos of her, it shows her sitting next to a man, but more than half of his face is cropped out. When you compare that to the financial advisor it's clearly him. Also, if you pay close attention, the first episode, when Naz and Andrea go upstairs to have sex, there's a hat hanging on the deer head on the wall. Then when Naz wakes up in the kitchen and goes upstairs to say goodbye to Andrea, that hat is gone. So she had a boyfriend. Or someone living there or someone who visited there. And my favorite part of the finale is when Box confronts the financial advisor at the bar and when he leaves he forgets his hat! And Box says "He forgot his hat." Just like he forgot his hat and took it back the night he killed her! Brilliant writing!

Well said post.
The thing that I will take away from this series is that very few people ever recover from being in the big house and that their families share in this experience as well. For example, when Naz is free and sitting at the dinner table. His mother looks at him with a sense of joy in one instance. Yet in the next she seems to give off the vibe that she still doesn't know whether or not he believes him. Another example is the fact that Naz's friend doesn't even speak to him at the corner deli.
It's kind of chilling to see a kid like Naz doing meth in the final scene. But it's not too surprising. His life is forever changed. For him and his families sake I hoped that they got the frick out of Queens (notice the house was for sale). No way that family would be accepted back into the community.
Im with some of you that believe that the show should have ended with Naz sitting by the bridge (even though I am happy that Stone went back for the cat).

2. I thought it only took 1 not guilty juror for a not guilty verdict? Am I high?
Yea I'm super losses (and kinda embarrassed about my lack of civic knowledge at this point). You always hear "we only need one" to get a not guilty verdict, but apparently it has to be unanimous?
Damn, learn something new everyday.

Someone on here please clarify
My whole life I've heard that phrase "it only takes convincing one juror to get off".
So why did it matter they were stuck at 6-6? They had 6 saying he's innocent, so he would have been not guilty right???

It's a mistrial. State could have retried him if they wanted.

Yea I think the 6-6 may be just showing that they weren't close to a conviction. If it had been 11-1 maybe the judge would have been able to say get back there and keep talking.

did anyone else get the feeling that freddy may have had something to do with the jurors decision? I found it a little odd that the head juror was so diligent about not trying one last revote, and saying "It's not going to happen"

My heads tired of thinking about this show.
Kind of glad it's over. Good watch but in 5 years I doubt I'll be remembering this as a classic.
Time to move on

I personally thought the DVD was going to be Chandra giving Naz drugs. Freddy was going to see it as Naz going behind his back and Naz was about to get shanked. I kept thinking shite was about to go down as Naz was walking out of the prison.

No matter what verdict they render, it has to be unanimous in either direction (or, in states like Louisiana, you need 10/12 in either direction). The notion that if one person votes for acquittal, the defendant is free to go, is wrong. It's hung and the state simply picks a new trial date.

Anyone else think towards the end when Freddie and Naz were smoking and Freddie was saying he loved Naz that he was about to shank him? They had some creepy music going on

One thing is clear from reading the thread....
TZimme doesn't know the difference between a CPA and a FInancial Advisor.

I honestly thought 1 of them was going to try to kill the other with the way they were looking at each other. Weird scene.

I thought Freddy was about to rape him. Was getting a homo vibe during that scene.

"You know why I like you?...cuz you don't stink of guilt................plus you got a pretty mouth" and the show takes a turn that nobody expected.

Throughout the series, the deer had a hat on its head and some shots where it didn't.
After Ray left Box at the casino, Box said, "he left his hat"
