For that to be true it would have to be a major financial success that kick started a new wave of neo noir films made in the same style.

Instead it's a box office bomb that might give studios pause on funding Shane Black's 2nd career resurrection when it comes to original IP.

I thought it was ok, not great. The acting and sets/costumes were fantastic though.

I'm saying its a parody of the genre while itself being an awesome entry. The satire is more clever IMO

Saw this today. It was outstanding. Felt like an atmospheric sequel to Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang. Highly recommend.

My wife has an AMC gift card, so we were thinking of going to see this sometime this coming week... only to find that it has already been replaced at the Mall location. Maybe we'll venture out to O'Neal... looks like it's still playing there as of now.
