That show have so many American frick yeah moments, I lost count. The first season dragged a bit and kind of made me roll my eyes, but the second season seem have a tighter narrative along with better military action sequences.

I have to wonder if the U.S naval men/women are really that bad arse. It seems to go for that Micheal bayish realistic frantic military action sequences.

Although, if there any U.S naval people reading. In the very first episode, that U.S warship took several direct missile hits and shrugged it off. Can it really stand up to that?

It's a really good summer show to make the offseason more bearable. Loved the fights with the sub in season 2, had some really tense moments.

Nope. There's a reason destroyer's are called "tin cans". They have very limited armor, and rely on sealing watertight compartments and counter-flooding to stay afloat.

That Spearfish torp should have broken the back of the Nathan James.

It's one of my favorite shows. It's a hell of a time waster on sunday nights in the summer and something to look froward to all week. The fights with the sub were awesome and tense as hell.

Even though this has Michael fricking Bay's hands all over it, I honestly think he does well and better on TV considering that it's a limited medium that would handcuff his greediness for excessive action and explosions and actually force him to develop plots and character development and he's still tasteful with the explosions and mindless violence.

I can't wait for the new season. Here's the trailer for it. LINK

Yeah, but it kind of seemed to come out of nowhere.

SPOILERS......

Not really.

I knew what that dude was going to do when he approached Dalton, hell he was already unaccounted for from the earlier fight where they sprayed the cure over civilians and I knew he was going to come back to bite them in the arse.

I'm sure TNT has an app. I think I watched S1 on Hulu. But I don't know if they have all S2

Not what I was talking about. But I don't want to bring in spoilers here because some people haven't watched.

Part 1 was damn cheesy, I skipped from episode 3 all the way to the final one to see how it ends. THen I start Season 2 (on hulu) to see how it's resolved and the directing, acting, suspense and writing became less cheese and tighter.

It quite enjoy it.

Agree. I have enjoyed it. It's definitely counter-culture this day and time.
