Just found out about this show and the 1st and 2nd episodes aren't on demand anymore. I guess I'll have to buy them on Amazon.

Finished watching season 1 last night, great series. Some of the acting performances on this show are really well done, especially like the one who portrayed Earl Ragnar.

I haven't seen the final episode yet. Will watch today. I'm bummed the season is already over. Gave me something to look forward to late on Saturday after football was over. Do yourself a favor and read the books if you haven't already.

I have watched the first four episodes this week. I really liked it. Very well done and I can't wait to watch more.

I read the books years ago so I am familiar with the characters, but I don't remember how everything happened.

Yeah I plan on starting off with the audiobooks on Amazon and maybe read some of his other work later.

The Uhtred books are my favorite but his Arthur trilogy is a close second. Those books are incredible and unlike the typical Arthur fantasy stories.

Agincourt and 1356 are solid stand alone books both set during the Hundred Years War.

Agincourt is incredible and since it is not a series it would be a good book to start with.

How similar is the show to the books?

Im almost done with book 1 and I'd like to start the show but I don't want to get huge spoilers.

I bought the series and just finished it up tonight.

Outside of the main character being primpd up all the time in the same garb it's pretty awesome.
