Because she's fine as hell? I like iris and I believe that she will eventually become a solid character once the romantic angst becomes a thing of the past. Barry and Iris are meant to be. The actress playing her is fricking gorgeous and one of a kind.
Anyway, this episode was pretty good and a pretty damn good lead up to the battle against Wells. I saw Ronnie and arrow in the promo but where's Ray Palmer in this as well? You would think it would be all hands on deck against wells?
Also, is the pipeline part of wells plan to get back home? What was the significance of that end sequence? Is it even the same pipeline under star labs?
Gordd was pretty good but the fight between him and flash was kind of undewhelming to be honest.

Very well done. It was smart of them to use so many shadows and steam to save money on the CG work.

Really? I liked their fight scene. The only issue I really had with it was the fact that it ended with a convenient 2nd train that just so happened to so up almost immediately after first one. Also Iris' voice being the only thing that allowed Barry to break the mind control was kind of corny and cliche. But I liked everything else about the fight.

The eyes of Dr. Wells was a great touch in showing how evil he actually is when he got in Eddies face.
Iris may get better and become a part of the team and should not demand so much attention.
Grodd was a lot stronger than I imagined, he will definitely be a force to deal with.

I don't really get the Iris hate. She's not that bad (and she's super hot).
I might be kind of put off too if all my friends and family knew about this huge thing and I didn't.

I'm kind of don't get it also. I get some of the dislike, but some on here just flat out hate her character. She's far from my favorite character on the show, but come on, give the ole girl a break.
And the way she acted when she found out Barry was Flash is understandable and really wasn't that bad. shite, Foggy tore Matt Murdock a new a-hole and acted like a complete prick for the exact same reason (hiding secret ID). And their falling out lasted for several episodes. They don't have a love interest for one another (at least not that I know of) and have only been close friends since college. Barry and Iris have a love interest and have been close friends and step siblings since childhood. And her being pissed off only lasted a little over 1 episode.

Flash seems to be getting better and better. Loved the episode.
Yes Iris/Laurel are hot. But they are so whiny/bitchy, drives me crazy.
Hopefully they get better because doesnt look like either are going anywhere.
Will be interesting to see how that love triangle will go since Eddie knows Iris will marry Barry.

I only watch Arrow right now because all of season 1 isn't available on Hulu/Netflix, but watching the ads for the Flash when I watch Arrow has spoiled the show for me.
