'The Flash' Movie Loses Its Director
quote:
Seth Grahame-Smith is leaving the Warner Bros. project due to “creative differences,” THR has learned.
Grahame-Smith, the author and screenwriter of such works as Pride & Prejudice & Zombies and Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, was to have made his directorial debut on the project that was based on the iconic DC Entertainment scarlet speedster super hero.
The project will retain Grahame-Smith’s script, which he wrote working off a treatment from Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, the Lego Movie duo that were once eyeing it as a possible directing vehicle.

Get it together DC.

This seems like we dodged a bullet if anything. His writing filmography are 2 movies, and they are Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and Dark Shadows, at an average of 36% on RT. Seriously, whose dick did he have to suck to get this gig in the first place?

Zach Snyder's. He quit when Snyder didn't have the got damned common courtesy to give him a reach around.

There's a rumor that James Wan might be out next for Aquaman. Faraci is saying that the directors are uneasy. I think it's because DC is trying to change their plans.

waiting on The Last Son to tell us this is good for DC.

I actually think it is. This might mean they are changing course.

However, particularly interesting is the news that Aquaman director James Wan could be the next filmmaker to part ways with the studio over "creative differences." According to the site, their sources tell them that "Wan is feeling a tremendous amount of trepidation about Aquaman...Aquaman needs Wan, and right now Wan is trying to decide if he needs that hassle."

This does not surprise me. Wan's had several interviews recently where he stated that Aquaman would be fun and awesome "if" he's able to make it his way. I would be bummed if Wan drops out.

I'm pretty meh on losing Seth. I was wondering why the hell he was chosen in the first place as he only had two credits to his name with one being horrible and the other being meh at best.
Devin Faraci or however that asshat spells his last name is a known shitstirring troll so I'm not going to believe anything he says until its already happened. Wan is a good director, but at the same time, when this movie is going to be part of a larger narrative, you can't just do whatever the hell you want to.

DC looks like a sinking ship right now. Hopefully Suicide Squad will save them.

Just rid of Snyder

I'd be more excited if The Flash recast the atrocity that is Ezra Miller playing Barry Allen.
