And Its Sequel During World War II

quote:

It’s not. I have been informed by those who have seen the greenlit treatment that the film will spends the first half on Paradise Island with warring Amazon factions vying for control.

An arrival of a man on the island changes that status quo, as he asks the Amazons for help. Not necessarily Steve Trevor either…

Because when Wonder Woman joins him on his return to the world of Man, we all discover that it is the 1920s. And the film will then show Diana exploring that world – a world where women have only just got the vote – from her… unique perspective.

I like the idea of an immortal Wonder Woman that is well seasoned by the time the JL come's around.

Bash away gentlemen.

I don't mind it at all. It's different for sure. Glad they're going their own way.

I look forward to the second movie completely refusing to show Nazis in a historical context.

Depending of the version isnt she either technically a demigod or made of magic clay? I would assume that makes it so she ages much slower than everyone else.

Hell, the only time I can even recall WW looking like she has aged is in Kingdom Come.

I loved Kingdom Come and I'll never criticize it butttttt, WW doesn't age.

Queen Hippa and all of her Amazonian sisters have always been depicted as such.

I don't believe the immortality was ever contingent on close proximity to Amazon Island or anything like that but I could be wrong. Or gay because I know so much about WW.

So Diana will already be Wonder Woman by the time Steve Trevor shows up in the 1940's?

That goes against every version of the origin story that I've heard. The first time the Amazons see a man is when Trevor's plane crashes on their island. Will they do away with the tournament that determines which Amazon is chosen to be Wonder Woman?

You haven't heard all of the Wonder Woman stories then. The animated JLU version had a 90 year old Steve Trevor.

Hardly any of the superhero movies go with the exact origin or retcons from the comics.

Wonder Woman has always only had one selling point.

And they were spectacular.

Oh yeah, she had great tits.

They were nice. You know how when you grab a Wonder Woman's breast... it feels like... a bag of sand....when you're touching it?

You know what I mean.

Will the amazons all cut off one of their titties like real amazons? Man, they'd have lesbians flicking their beans in the aisles if they did that.

Can only hope it's nearly as good as the animated WW movie.

She gets one implant in the first movie, another in the WWII movie, and a third one in the Justice League movie.

Hmmm. Interesting. It looks like they might be taking inspiration from the graphic novel "Amazonia" which was actually set in Victorain era England. It was a different take on the character and the art was great, but the Amazons were a little more violent(as are Brian Azzarello's new 52 version) and the character has been kept as one from a different Earth (Earth 17 I believe). Once again...interesting. WWII setting Wonder Woman is really my favorite setting for the character.

God, I want to vomit. All they're trying to do with this movie is "woman power"! Female lead, female director, Wonder Woman leading females to vote. It's just clear that the people in charge of this are looking at Wonder Woman as a woman first and a character second. I have no faith in DC.

You make me want to vomit with your obvious bias. You have no credibility whatsoever.
