I didn't know about them at the time, I thought Funi had moved on from DBZ after the orange bricks. Had lost interest in the show until I saw this thread a couple of months ago. Didn't even know about Kai either.

Keep an eye on eBay and Amazon. You might luck out and find some for cheap.

Well I actually prefer the orange bricks because they have all 3 audio tracks (Japanese, English with Japanese music, English with the Faulconer music). The widescreen thing kinda bugs me though.

You can't change it from widescreen? I'm wanting to buy all the sets soon and want the version that use to come on Toonami (Faulconer), but uncut, of course.

If you want the Toonami version, go with the orane brick set.

See that's why it really sucks that Funi stopped with the blu ray ones. It had all 3 audio tracks too AND the original ratio.
Edit: Interestingly, the "blue brick" sets for DB are normal and not widescreen.

Exactly, they were not true to the series AT ALL. They had more of their own creations in it than original DB creations.
