How many people have watched season 1? I'm about 15 episodes in and I'm hooked. Awesome show, IMO.

Love it. DVR it every week because I can't stay up until 11 to watch it.

Watched it on Netflix a couple of weeks ago.
The commercials from this season have made me nervous about Shark Jumping.

I watched it when it started. Kinda just stopped after like 15 episodes. Just caught up the passed week or so. I like the show, but I feel like there is something missing for it to be really really good. Cant put my finger on it though

If it wasn't for James Spader, it would be terrible.
The premise is terrible, most of the FBI agents are morons, and the premise is almost the same in every episode. The season long arcs are interesting though.
Spader's Contact: There's a new name we need to check out, it's vital!
Head FBI Guy: I don't trust James Spader, but we don't know about these criminals, so we need him!
Various FBI Peeps: I'm conflicted about working with a criminal, but I can't make basic logical leaps on my own.
Something happens that upsets the plan.
Spader's Contact: I'm frustrated and I don't know WHAT TO DO!
Spader: Have you tried going at the problem like this.
Spader's Contact: OMG BRILLIANT.
FBI: Even though it logically makes sense, we'll have massive distrust and force Spader's contact to break some rules to accomplish it.
Spader's Contact: I'm so conflicted, I follow the rules but Spader has made me such a rebel.
Spader: Pulls something random out of his butt making him look like a savant.
Spader's Contact: We caught the guy, but lost a valuable piece of evidence... oh you rascal James Spader.
Spader: On to next week!

I tried watching it recently, I got through 5 or 6 eps.
It's not a good show to binge on, since the storyline changes each episode. I couldn't get into it at all.

This show has more cheesy dialogue then any show except CSI:Miami

I'm exactly where you are and hooked as well.

Ive kinda stalled out around episode 12 of season 1... It's not bad and an easy watch, but like many said, the formula kinda gets old for a 22 episode season... Though I'm curious to know what the tie is between Spader and that gal... So, I'll probably soldier on..

I think the premise is great, the execution not so much. The acting and lines are cheesy and downright sad at some points. Not too crazy about the "villain of the week" thing. Smallville almost got canned when it used that formula.

I tried to watch it as I like the genre and Spader.
But I got like 3 episodes in and quit. If you watch/read fed law enforcement/counter terrorism/intelligence stuff, it is just too out there to enjoy. Hate being that guy, but I just can't suspend belief enough and as a network show, it's made for a pretty dull audience.

I'm a fan. Just finished S1 on Netflix. Always been a fan of Spader so I overlook a few things with this show. The Anslo Garrick episode was pretty intense.
I'm on to The Americans right now on Amazon Prime.

Spader has really let himself go since his Brat Pack days. He gives zero fricks

Sorry man, but it is. It's over the top, detached from reality, and they do that stuff to get at the average viewer who watches network shows. I know it's supposed to be fun, but I've gotten to the age where there isn't a lot of mindless entertainment I enjoy.

What are you talking about? The underlying story progresses every episode. They do have the simple plot change every episode, but the underlying questions about the husband, Spader's character, etc... all progress from episode to episode.

Personally, I love it.
If you are a fan of Burn Notice then you will have no problems with the way the episodes and storyline are set up.
Spader is phenomenal and for some odd reason I watch for the music as much as anything else.
For the record I also try to make any show involving the FBI/CIA work as I love that kind of stuff.

The whole "Oh, Lindsey, Lindsey, you have to try this!" Line or one similar appears in every episode. The spader character is always engaged in some obscure epicurean delight and she interrupts him.
