This show and the Bachelor are my biggest guilty pleasure. Most people who love the show...don't watch because they want to watch people fall in love....they want to watch the trainwrecks.

My now wife got me hooked on it a couple of years ago, so yeah, I'm watching this season. My initial reaction is that Jordan Rodgers is going to take this race wire-to-wire and that's based solely on the fact that he's handsome (but not prettier than JoJo) and that he's trying to work his way to TV, which has the potential to keep her on TV. She's gonna hope for her own reality series after this, and he's the ticket.

I like Luke. He played on her unicorn entrance from last year by riding on the "unicorn". All the guys complaining about all the gimmicks clearly forgot that JoJo used a gimmick as well when she met Ben.
He also clearly knows a woman's heart...give her shoes as soon as possible. And he's also from Texas like she is.

I have a friend whose brother was on a season of The Bachelorette. It's funny to see him now all caught up in the post-Bachelorette/Bachelor alumni club. He's alienated a lot of his friends and pretty much only hangs out with other Bachelor/Bachelorette alums. He's kind of made a career of it, landing a job with some marketing company affiliated with the show and going to numerous parties and events they have throughout the year.

It's clearly a tight knit group. When Jake P walked in I was like "WTF??!" He clearly knows JoJo well from all the Bachelor/Bachelorette get togethers they have.
And he clearly is not done with his 15 minutes of fame either. Thought it was a very cringe-worthy, lame attempt on his part for attention.
But yeah....Luke looks like the actual "real" pick for her. Which means that he will make the top 3(maybe the next Bachelor) and she will instead pick the guy that will not get too clingy when she is off doing Dancing with The Stars and wants to sleep with her dance partner. The guy she doesn't really care about so she won't feel bad stringing their relationship on after the show until the next season of the Bachelor premieres.

also, I'm thrilled they brought Olivia back, but I thought it was weird that she got a sex change and goes by Chad now...

Chad is clearly gonna be the villain this season. You know the producers were trying to see how far they could push his buttons and have him explode just enough on the show for good drama...but not too much and risk the show getting sued for allowing a guy on the show assault others.
