I'm sorry. That kid was so annoying. It was a one time watch and that's it.

I liked it, but not nearly as much as the board.

I went in expecting greatness.

I got a pretty good horror flick.

This is my concern. When I first heard about it and saw the trailer (on here I believe), I was pumped. But since then I've seen several threads saying that it wasn't too great at all, and was a fairly run-of-the-mill horror flick. Now, I'm cool with that, but I think I just may need to temper my expectations a bit before watching it.

I enjoyed it a lot. Definitely a non-typical borrow movie for today's standards. Not many jump scares, more psychological horror

I've suggested it to several friends but none have watched it yet

I'd never let SFP's lone opinion control my watching of something. There are a few people here that I align with movie/tv wise. Like we've talked about before, you're prolly the closest to my tastes. I'd watch (or not watch) something 99% of the time based on your advice alone.

SFP, not so much..

This sums up my feelings too.

It was a good movie but it desperately needed a score. I also hate they couldn't show us something. These complaints are a byproduct of the budget but when she first reads that book

God damn

Thought this was one of the year's best films just for how it explored grief despite being billed as just a good scary movie.

Essie Davis was phenomenal in this and deserved a nomination IMO.

This is the crucial point, imo. This movie transcends the genre.
