I liked it alot. Modern day cinema at its finest. What did you think if you have seen it?

Casey Affleck was in his mid-30's playing a teenager (19) and nailed it as Robert Ford. From what I understand this performance earned him an Oscar for best actor in a supporting role.

I enjoyed it, though not what I expected. Not a typical western. More like a History channel documentary.

Solid movie...really felt like it drug on and on and on though. I don't really want to watch it again, but it was pretty solid.

Pretty much the way I feel about it. The Narrator, or at least his dialogue, sucked for that BTW, was it Richard Dryfuss (sp)?

It's a little slow, but still a great movie.

Solid movie, a little drawn out. But, a well thought out script.

It was ok. Certain things about teh movie were good. I love Westerns, especially they type with an actual historical character involved, but the movie was entirely too long. Casey Affleck does nothing for me. I think he is a terrible actor imo.

Come on man. Of the few really good things about the movie, his performance stood out the most. I thought he did an excellent job.

It was ok. The semi-documentary style doesn't really fit the western genre. The plot, well that's pretty much already given away by the films title. Too much close ups and not enough wide sprawling outdoors scenes that one would expect from a western. There are no sympathetic characters but that's not really it, the movies just seems to lack a sense of purpose or message.

7/10

I enjoyed it even if it was a little slow. When I was in D.C. I got to see the original floor boards with the blood on them from jesse james being shot which was pretty cool.

Your right deuce. Casey Affleck did not win best actor in a supporting role for this but he was nominated, I looked it up. Javier Bardiem won that year for No Country for Old Men.
