Texas Rising on the History channel

Looks pretty good to me, what do you think?
Also saw on IMDB that it was 8 episodes, I thought I remember the other History channel specials being 3.

I generally like the History channel mini series like these so I'll be seeing it. Also from what I've seen about it it's going to be 5 episodes

It says 8 episodes next to the top billed cast on IMDB but that could be wrong.

If its as well done as Vikings I'm sure I'll like it.

I'm excited to remember the Alamo. Growing up in Texas, I know Texas history pretty well. Can't wait.
In fourth grade, we were told that the Texans snuck up on the Mexicans when they were napping. In reality, they sent a bunch of prostitutes their way and then attacked.

If it's anything like Sons of Liberty I don't know if I will be able to take it.

It's from the people who made Hatfield's & McCoy's, which I liked.
