Syfy developing Superman prequel 'Krypton'

I wouldn't be able to get past the fact the planet was about to blow up and nothing they were doing mattered.

Pus, they're on their home planet, so they don't have super powers. They're just regular people. There isn't really anything very interesting about that.

It would be hugely interesting if it was the Krypton of the Silver Age. Now that Krypton is seen as a dark and depressing planet populated with criminals and assholes... not so much.
