Once Lauren stated she was a single mom in the first 5min of the show, Patrick was a goner if they lost the immunity challenge.
Also, thinking Lauren will be loyal to the hustler group will likely bite them in the arse when the merger happens.
Ali getting a pretty good edit so the guys will likely be the casualty of that.

This season is looking pretty meh. No real interesting, dynamic personalities, though I really like Ali.
Patrick was an idiot and deserved to go. Lauren absolutely gutted him in tribal and he couldn't even defend himself. I don't think it mattered as their decision had been made prior to tribal.
Maybe the switch next week will liven things up. These people are boring.

I watched on CBS All Access tonight.
Loved Pat getting sent home, but is it really a blindside if he knew he was in the discussion? Obviously he expected it to be the softball star centerfielder with the most accurate arm in the world, but he had to know he wasn't 100% safe.

That would make an awesome season though.
Have CBS create some made up company and hire 18 people for intern jobs as an office assistant or some shite.
After a few weeks tell them they're needed out of the country for a couple months. They all land in wherever island they choose next on the same day, put them on a truck, and drive to the beach where Probst will be waiting.

some really haven't. Survivor likes to recruit and they bring in a mix of people suggested to them by other castmates/friends of the show, and actual applicants. There have been seasons where people have won that never watched a single episode before.

Agreed, as much as Patrick was obnoxious and cost them that challenge, the smarter decision for the other three might have been to vote out Lauren anyway.
Don't really care though, made for a great elimination.

Shake up was kind of meh since they kept it 3 tribes... tribal was only interesting because of the idol. Going after Allen appears to be going after the bigger pain in the arse instead of Ashley the bigger threat although I think Ashley is not that huge of a threat as the game goes on.
That other dumbass letting everyone know of the advantage has to be the worst player ever... that is saying a lot after 35 seasons.

It makes no sense for him to say anything about the secret advantage to the other members of his group. If they would have lost the challenge and went to tribal, then that would have at least been interesting.
But what an idiot, only to get the "in" with the other group to help him later on, but not thinking about the immediate consequences.
