Kind of like it,definitely a different take.

I think this Joker is gonna be a crazier and more funny take. Definitely more comic book.

Not a fan of the tattoos, but it could work.

I'm trying to think what a Joker/present-day-person with 2015 sensibilities would look like...I guess I could envision a Marilyn Manson looking psycho. Don't like the teeth or the face tats...cuz ya know, first world problems. If Leto can pull off a Joker where you forget the new take, he's done a very good job.
I think I may've read one Suicide Squad comic ever, but I'm kinda geeking out over the idea of this flick. Hopin it's good.

Looks like a shitty cosplay.

He looks like how the joker should have looked in Batman beyond

That picture restored my faith in his version honestly. I'm a lot less hesitant about these movies than I was initially.
I loved the Nolan movies and the realism, but they need to get away from "realistic" superhero shite.
Superheros are not realistic. They're super. And the villains follow suit. Joker is the anti-batman.
Rewatching the batman animated series and replaying the recent Arkham games has me begging for some nonrealism.
I'm not asking for a happy go lucky batman. I want it dark, gritty, and adult themed. It's a dark comic, but it isn't super realistic, nor should it be.
Clayface and the joker's insane set ups would be awesome to watch. And neither are realistic.
In the animated series the joker has batman in a warehouse turned into a maze covered in booby traps that he has to get through using his skill and detective work. Non of which is realistic.
Also, animated series GOAT Joker:
Arkham Joker:
Looks like they're getting closer to that.

quote:Great point. Which is why I love the fact that they are not shying away from Superman vs Batman. It's a comic movie. Make it like a comic.

That just looks like they are trying too hard. I mean he has "Damaged" tattooed n his forehead.
Posted on 4/24/15 at 10:19 pm to Shiftyplus1
yeah....not liking the tats

I bet his grill is from Batman knocking his teeth out. At least that would make sense. The damaged tattoo is a little too far.

I'm not familiar with the Suicide Squad so maybe this is how the Joker looks in that, but personally he looks like Marilyn Manson's younger brother who lives in some Alabama trailer park.
The tattoos look like shite, but he's going to have most of them covered I'm assuming. But what the hell is the deal with his fricked up mouth?

I assume he'll have a suit on most of the time, yes.

Out of curiosity, how much Joker are you familiar with?

The only thing I wish was different about that picture is a defined widows peak hairline.
The voice I've heard coupled with he rumors about the mood of this movie has me very excited.
Maybe DC will finally step into an actual cinematic universe.
