Stranger Things or The Last Kingdom, which should I start watching first?

I'm looking for a new Netflix series to start, and was thinking about giving one of these a try, but I'm not sure which I should start watching first. Are they both worth watching?

I just watched both, stranger things is absolutely amazing, and the last kingdom is also very, very good. Watch both alternating an episode a day to draw out the enjoyment

Watched the first two episodes of stranger things last night.....
and I am already sad that there appears to be only 8 episodes to watch.
Gives me a very suspenseful goonies type vibe.

I started watching stranger things last night and also got to episode two. I'm glad there are only 8 episodes, I've read in a lot of places it feels like a long movie instead of a tv show because of it.
Great show, and I'm super excited it's been gaining a lot of traction
ETA: the soundtrack is awesome as well, reminds me of daft punk

I decided to start with Stranger Things. I'm on episode 2, and I'm not disappointed so far. I love the 80s supernatural/mystery vibe. I may just binge the whole thing today and tomorrow.

I'll have to try The Last Kingdom next. But Stranger Things was so good I couldn't put it down, and I binge watched the whole season today. 
It was a truly awesome series that I enjoyed every minute of.

I watched Stranger Things tonight. It's the new IT. I absolutely loved every minute of it.
