They didn't let her write the screenplay. Andrew Niccol wrote and directed it. He's legit. And Saoirse did an amazing job.

The first couple of months of the year are always the slowest for quality new releases. Hopefully it starts to pick up soon.

Pretty much agree with you . Next movie I'm seeing in theaters will probably be Iron Man 3.

I honestly can't think of many things this year I'm looking forward too either, while there was alot in 2012 I did and was rarely disappointed. I'd say here are the only films I'm looking forward to:
