This is hilarious, I love Stan Lee:

Stan Lee: Parkour

P.S: Pay attention to the song, that's probably the best part

That was fricking brilliant. And yes, Stan Lee did invent fricking Spider-man.

Also, whoever they got to do the actual parkour... holy frick balls. Unbelievable.

The series of jumps beginning at 2:27 are ridiculous. He lands 4 jumps in a row on handrails at different heights and lengths. Handrails.

Okay, jackass, just because Steve Ditko also contributed to Spider-man from the outset doesn't mean Stan Lee didn't invent Spider-man. I mean seriously.

He's the co-creator or co-inventor of Spider-Man.

"Architect" of the Marvel Universe is the title that fits him most aptly. ...since his artists did all of the character designs and fleshed out the pacing and visual scripting of each story. Lee provided the basic plot at the start and would come up with dialogue to fit the story that had been drawn and "written" by the artist.

It's why the artist should be listed with Stan Lee whenever they discuss his creating a character.

and cool as shite as Stan Lee seems to be, I just don't see him not giving credit to every single person that ever helped him, so I'm cool with this assessment.

I would say Stan Lee created Spider-Man just like Steve Ditko did. Without Stan Lee there is no Spider-Man, so therefore he is the creator. Also without Steve Ditko there is no Spiderman, so he is the creator.

Exactly. There was no need for some smug reply like "parts of it." Come on, now. He invented Spider-man. Enough said.

And Stan insisted that the artist get equal credit.

That was hardly common back then.

FWIW... I'm friends with Tom, the guy that produced this video

ETA: Since everyone always ask... I grew up with Felicia Day, she is Geek and Sundry, Tom Grey works for Geek and Sundry, he has also worked with Stan Lee along with Sonya Belousova who he also currently working with. They both have really strong connections to Marvel / Stan Lee, not as much Marvel recently but they still have an amazing relationship with SL. I am still 2 degrees of separation from Stan Lee unfortunately
