So I've been watching all of this series for a few weeks now and I just got to the episode where Michael says goodbye. It was really tough seeing him say goodbye to Dwight, Jim, Erin, and Pam. I've watched one episode since he left and it's not terrible, but no where near as good as it was when Michael Scott was in it.

Should I keep watching and just finished the series or does it get pretty bad?

Just finish it. The finale is great. There are some really good episodes in between.

You have definitely seen the peak of the show, but there are a few episodes here and there that are worthwhile. If you're truly a fan of the show, you can't not finish the series. Plus, it'll make watching the finale more meaningful for you.

Sabre took a lot out of the show and then Andy took even more but the final few episodes are great especially the finale

I liked Kathy Bates and Robert California.

Without spoiling: Prepare to hate a principle character (or two). It's one of the really good finales to a great show, though. So power through.

Couldn't stand Robert California or Nellie (neck and neck with Kelly Kapoor for worst character on the show).

But Sabre did give us Gabe, who was a nice, cringy addition to the cast.

Just power through. It'll be worth it for the last few episodes.

Nellie might be my least favorite character in television history. Her last scene/plot was sooooo bad.

you're vested enough that's it's worth it to keep watching. You will hate some people and episodes though. Like others have said, it's at least worth it to get to the finale.

Ok I'm now about 5 episodes after Michael saying goodbye. They are still searching for the replacement of Deangelo, but they won't even mention Michael by name. It's "last boss" or "last administration", etc. Did Steve Carrell piss off the executives or something? Or can they not use the name Michael Scott because if they do, they have to pay Steve Carrell or something? Or am I reading too much into the fact that they won't mention him by name at all?

fricking love the Office, but once Michael Scott left I watched a few , then skipped to the finale, which was great.

Michael Scott IS the Office

I love the office. My favorite show. But I pretty much completely lost interest when Michael left. There were good episodes here and there but they really jacked characters up.

Yeah, I'm trying to power through just because I have invested so much time and I really do like Dwight, Jim, and Erin. (Pam most of the time)

It's definitely not nearly as good since Michael left.

Trust me I know. I have seen the seasons with Michael so many times. I just felt like I wasn't watching the office anymore. Michael was gone, they kept changing all the characters for the worse. I just didn't care anymore

For sure it's worth the watch. Should have put that in my post. I have just never thought about rewatching those episodes.
