The other thread got me thinking...what movies are just okay and then the ending makes them a lot better.

Perfect example of this for me is The Kingdom (2007). It was a really good movie, but the last 30 minutes or so are just nonstop awesome, and it took a really good movie into fantastic territory for me.

BTW, if you haven't seen it, I won't spoil it, but I'd easily recommend you watch it immediately. It's awesome.

Frailty. It's a good, entertaining flick with a story that kept me captivated. Then the last 5 or 10 minutes really just kicked it up a notch. One of my favorite movies that few people I know have ever heard of.

Good call on The Kingdom...I love that movie. Tim McGraw had an awesome cameo.

Also, Zero Dark Thirty.

And see, I think it's just the opposite (and agreed with those who mentioned it in the other thread).

Fantastic call, and I agree.

I loved that movie as it was going, and the more it went on, the more I loved it. Top 5 all time for me.

I loved it. It was a very different way of showing the corrupt get what's coming to them.

It's definitely one of those things that you only get to experience once, but it's a really crazy ride on the first watch!
