The new actor playing spartacus is doing a pretty good job so far this season, better than i expected. Oh and Mira looked great as usual.

Excellent episode. Don't get much more heavy duty than the Spartacus series. And now that Gannicus has opened up a can of whoopass on the Romans, look for the action to only get better.

uhh i think his hand is forced after capturing ilythia and killing a dozen soldiers. btw =, this episode = boner. good to see doctore back in fighting form.

The previews showed Gannicus talking to Spartacus and Glaber calling out Spartacus in the street. Perhaps some kind of prisoner exchange or ransom demand.

Walking Dead is my favorite show, but I believe this season of Spartacus is the best on TV.

I watched the first two seasons and they seemed like really violent gay porn films. Dicks were EVERYWHERE and it seemed like someone took it up the pooper at least once an episode. I understand that homosexuality was accepted in Rome but it seems like they emphasized it a tad too much...is this season the same way?

I think he sucks.
All his "epic speeches" seem forced. Not to mention his fighting seems look so damn choreographed. The opening fight scene in episode 1 was just awful.
