I just can't look away..these characters are all so cartoonish you just want them all to have really bad things happen to them (except CAmeron)

Cameron may be the most beautiful woman I have ever seen in my life. she is the only sane character on the show.

My inlaws are tight with the Ravenels and contribute pretty regularly to Thomas's campaign.
Most of these people are just caricatures of themselves, but it's not too terribly off from how old Charleston people carry themselves.

J.D. & Cameron are the most likeable people on the show.

She's classy. But also doesn't seem to take herself too seriously or come off as a prude.

I lost it when the butler opened the door and then "announced" the guest being there and she comes sauntering down the steps. so idiotic. then brings her butler and own martini kit to the baptism. lol.

If you're looking for that sort of atmosphere/people, check out the Recovery Room Tavern.
It is the epitome of a dive bar but is amazing. Just got named the number 1 seller of PBR in the nation (when you see this place you'll be amazed that this place was able to sell that much.)
Hell, I go there over other bars 75% of the time. Late night is a mixture of frat daddies and sorostitutes, grunge/punk/metal dudes, and hipsters.
Good times had by all though.

My wife won't shut up about it. She grew up in Charleston, and has always been enamored with the upper class there. She straight up loves the stupid show.
